What's In Your Archive?

290378541_498788742016918_2229060734519416260_nI have a few items that I have held on to over the years. Some of these items are related to my family, and others are directly related to my personal growth. One of the items I have kept is my wallet, which I had with me when I migrated (with my family) to the United States in 1998.

Why did this item go into my archive?

I bought the wallet some 3 or 4 years before we migrated - it was my first wallet as a teenager. I revisit the items I have from time to time. I love this particular item because it’s part of my story as a growing and maturing individual - both materially and spiritually.

Why is it important to have an archive for the Bahá’í Community?

The items kept in the Bahá’í Archives are an opportunity for us (and future generations) to see that the work of the Faith has been carried on by other ordinary human beings, who made extraordinary choices.
