“Our contributions to the Faith are the surest way of lifting once and for all time the burden of hunger and misery from mankind, for it is only through the System of Bahá’u’lláh — Divine in origin — that the world can be gotten on its feet, and want, fear, hunger, war, etc., be eliminated.”

Abdu’l-Baha’s Life of Service

Acts of service take many forms, and we are fortunate in the Baha’i Faith to recognize this diversity of approach. It can be as small as checking in on a neighbor, or as big as organizing a whole community to action. With a focus of the Nine Year Plan being on Abdu’l-Baha’s life, one thing that stands out is His tireless and unmistakable commitment to service to humanity. And yet there are countless stories of Abdu’l-Baha taking time out of His day to look after people everywhere He went.

Listed below are a few examples shared from other communities. We hope they uplift your hearts and inspire your communities to action.
